Goals

To start this project, and until the weather cooperates, I will just improve my general knowledge of longboarding lingo and tricks. Once I am able to start longboarding, I will just be getting comfortable with the board again after the winter. Once comfortable, I think I am going to perfect the 180 pivot, which I was working on last summer. It isn't technically a trick, but I think it will be fundamental in becoming a better longboarder. Once I have that down pat, I will continue to learn, from last summer, the ghostride kickflip. Once I have those tricks down, then I will start learning some new tricks.

Here is a list of tricks that I have come up with (with help from my mentors) to learn:
- Cross stepping
- Peter pans
- Heel side and toe side slides
- Hands down toe slide
- Tiger claw
- Shove it

This list might change very often depending on my progress and efforts.

My new set of goals will be a lot more simple, because of reasons I said in my "Unforseen setbacks" post.
 - Perfect the 180 pivot
 - Perfect Ghostride kickflip
 - Become more proficient at carving
 - 2 second nose manual
